songs

Hey Aris, here we go. So these songs always sound anthemic to me and somewhat catchy. I picture them to be singles, hits, memorable.

Stay:

stay

We stayed frozen through those times
From this moment we collide
With a warmth that tears and rends
Until our hearts can beat again

Long ago we made a choice
To be still in form and voice
It was safer just to wait
Holding tight an eons break

Alive- you and me Fight our charming enemies
As a test of our beliefs

Will you stay and hold me back? If I lose sight of the track
Will you hold out at the gate? Until I make my own escape
Will you still take my hand? If at my touch you turn to sand
Will you stay and hold me back? Will you stay?

Walking tall right in between
Smiles with hatred in beneath
Waiting for the smallest flaw
That will be the final straw

Alive you and me
Fight our charming enemies
Weather we win or lose I know, which side I’ll choose

Will you stay and hold me back? If I lose sight of the track
Will you hold out at the gate? Until I make my own escape
Will you still take my hand? If at my touch you turn to sand
Will you stay and hold me back? Will you stay?

A thousand with stone hearts
Are all that can be seen
And still hand in hand
we are walking in between
When we are held in thrawl by the fear that they induce
And when their hands are reaching in caressing to seduce

Will you stay and hold me back? If I lose sight of the track
Will you hold out at the gate? Until I make my own escape
Will you still take my hand? If at my touch you turn to sand
Will you stay and hold me back? Will you stay?

I’ve written that piece and had some help correcting the words and grammar towards a correct English by a Canadian musician.

Guilty Minds Unravel:

Verse1

I must have seemed so cold to let you go, I was afraid

When all you needed was my love, I just walked away

Pre Chorus

I’ll take the blame

And wrap your secrets tight

I’ll wear the shame

I don’t deserve your light

Chorus

If I could hold you tonight

I would have told you: We’ll be fine

if I could lay my eyes upon

your face just one last time

I promise you , You heart would know: You are mine

Verse2

You must have felt so helpless when I left, I let you fall

When all you needed was my time, I missed just your call

Bridge

And sometimes I imagine you

But guilty minds are fragile, just like hearts

Oh how could I abandon you?

And let your life unravel, at the start

This is a co-work. An icelandic woman named Jona Runarsdottir wrote the lyrics, I wrote all the music.

The songs move to some heights in their choruses, however you might imagine, that it’s possible to transpose the music and find arrangements accordingly to your voice. Not really needing to say that, as you might know. Although the A key in “Stay” is nice and shiny, it can be moved.

And last bit: It’s quiet a decent call of you to name yourself songwriter in it’s best meaning and putting it towards a “musician” that can react fast on his instrument. That also accounts to me on piano. These are rough versions that outline things. I quiet like the piano arrangement of “Stay”, chords and movements. Performance is somewhat that could be done great by someone.

Have a nice sunday
